Virulence is also known as the Black-Moon, revered by many as the Goddess of Destruction, Calamity and Change. Many of the followers of Virulence are Humans but there are some that say that Virulence is the reason why Monsters plague Vaedanys.

Those who are afflicted with curses can also be traced back to Virulence. 

 

Lycans of Vaedanys or the Lycanthropes offer themselves to the Goddess of Change, some wishing to be rid of the curse of Lycanthropy and some thanking her for answering their prayers to be part of the "Hunt" the ever lasting cycle of Death and Birth.
