The Compass & Atlas
The Compass & Atlas is a guild that was formed in early 2E "The Era of Kings". It's primary goal was to explore the unknown lands beyond the continent of its foundation.
The results of the expeditions sent by the guild draw the attention of many explorers, researchers and adventurers who came to join the Compass & Atlas most of them gaining names for themselves like Phyr the Dragonslayer.
Ever since its foundation the Compass & Atlas has contributed to the global efforts of discovery all across Vaedanys, though most of the regions of the world have been mapped out, the direct comparison and ever changing lands make it difficult for one mapped existence to remain still. Hence the job never has never been finished for the Compass & Atlas guild members.
The Compass & Atlas often joins shared expeditions and missions with many guilds such as The Bannerguard, The Fjords the Rangers and even the Platinum-Circle. Since most of the members of the Compass & Atlas are trained with skills regarding cartography and history; researchers and Explorers are readily available for hire who are among the guild and often highly sought out.
